Just imagine! Most of the free world would then be united under the banner of the Commonwealth of Nations! For such a giant market, the European Union would turn up with a begging bowl just to get to talk about trade with what would be the largest trading bloc in the history of the world!
There are still Royalists in America, so this might not be such an impossible aim...

Yes. It's also time for Egypt, Iraq, Palestine/Israel, Sudan, Somalia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, the UAE and the Republic of Ireland to join too.
The Republic of Ireland were members, but they resigned.
In my opinion, the more states in the Commonwealth of Nations, the better it would be.
I'm sorry, but as an American, I think the USA is already involved in too many worthless, anti-sovereign alliances. The UN is a joke where 3rd world dictators get to pretend they are important, NATO does nothing except suck away AMERICAN money. Americans fund the entire damn world, which is why when we have economic troubles, the world economy tumbles. If the USA disappears, it's back to the dark ages, pal.
Besides, too many in the USA refuse to give up their free speech, their guns, and their lives to a bunch of socialistic, muslim fearing, atheistic euroweenies.
