Things are tough. Nude 'modelling' jobs advertised on Job Centre Plus website

An angry and somewhat despondent job seeker forwarded the following job they found listed on the Job Centre Plus website: A job which seemed to be bordering on a sex industry vacancy, if not actually a sex industry vacancy:

If yes, ****** is looking for adults aged 18+ for immediate start either from home or from employer site in Mitcham, Surrey. Guaranteed minimum wages per 4 hour shift. Duties require the successful applicant to be nude/semi nude. Please note that there is no obligation to consider making an application for this vacancy. However, if you feel it is suitable for you, please discuss it further with an adviser. EXEMPTED VACANCY - EMPLOYMENT EQUALITY ACT (AGE) REGULATIONS 2006

To apply, please call the office number on ******. Alternatively, call Charlene on ***** or Daryl .

The website of the service contains photographs which leave little to the imagination. The models (at least one who appears to be performing a sex act) have names which leave no doubt about what the viewer would be seeing.

The instruction at the top of the page reminds visitors to: "click the Pictures to chat and to enjoy live streaming".

Perhaps it is all a bit of harmless fun. But should a government agency be promoting this type of career?

What do you think?

As the job seeker said: "It's bad enough that they are filling up the Job Centre Plus website with jobs for Avon reps, but this is just going too far. I mean, where, exactly, will they draw the line?"
